I was scrolling through my feed this morning and noticed how quickly everyone loses their minds over every little clip or snippet of a celebrity's life. It’s like we’ve moved past being genuine fans and into this territory where a five-second video can trigger a massive, collective meltdown or a frenzy of speculation.

I remember back in the day, you’d follow an athlete or an artist, appreciate their work, and that was pretty much it. Now, it feels like there's this constant, hyper-reactive loop. People see one tiny piece of content and immediately start acting like it's the biggest news of the century, or they start obsessing over things that don't even matter. It feels exhausting to watch sometimes.

It makes me wonder if we're all just looking for something to get worked up about to fill the void, or if the sheer speed of social media has just rewired our brains to crave that instant hit of drama.

Does anyone else feel like the "hype cycle" is getting out of hand, or am I just getting old and cynical?
