So, my boyfriend and I are both 19, and we’re both virgins. We finally decided to try having sex for the first time—we both really wanted this to happen—but oh my god, it was such a disaster!

We were totally sober, hanging out somewhere private where we felt safe and wouldn't be interrupted. There was zero pressure, and we had protection covered (I'm on birth control because of some ovarian issues I have), and we've known each other forever...

The main thing is, I was super dry, but even then, it felt like he was trying to shove a two-liter soda bottle inside me 🙄 (and honestly, he isn't even *that* big 🙄)... it hurt so incredibly bad. I don't think he even got more than an inch in... it was just awful. I actually felt like crying 😳 ....

He tried using a finger... that kind of works... but things are so, so tight. He could barely get two fingers in about an inch
...

Look, I get that sex can be painful and all that jazz... but seriously, how many attempts does it take? How much struggle and effort is normal? After about ten tries, we were just completely exhausted, and eventually, we just started laughing at how ridiculous it all was. Should I maybe take a couple of Advil, use a ton of lube, and just go for it? 🤣

Thanks in advance for any good advice (hopeful for some!)

p.s. We've put things on hold for now. No forcing it...

Hmm... I’m struggling to wrap my head around one thing here... hasn't anyone tried using a ring stretcher on you before? Whether it was him or someone else, because let's be honest: if it isn't already happening smoothly, getting through without significant discomfort on the first try is practically impossible.
You aren't the only one dealing with this; I believe there’s actually a thread about it over on a major health forum or something similar. Generally speaking, the advice is to try using your fingers to gradually stretch things out—and it doesn't have to be just right before the act itself. Try practicing a few times over several days, etc.
Also, you mentioned experiencing quite a bit of dryness? Well, that is another massive factor that makes everything much more difficult!
Good luck 🙂 😁

Oh, come on, my long-fingered friend😬 has definitely used those fingers... both then... and before... and plenty of times since...

Well, they might as well start using more of them (I’m talking more fingers 🤣) because let’s face it: there is absolutely no way to handle this without getting a little messy
