So, I caught this the other day, and I was wondering if anyone else has seen it or what your thoughts are.

The movie follows three different stories: Julia Child (Fruit Chan), Cut (Park Chan-wook), and Box (Takashi Miike).

Personally, I thought Julia Child was incredible, though I guess the other two weren't bad either.

Watched it and honestly, I think it’s all killer... Takashi Miike absolutely crushed it 🙏. It’s a masterpiece... easily one of his best-looking films visually. Fruit Chan was great too... solid story and top-tier acting... the cinematography is straight out of a Deakins movie. The biggest surprise, though? He filmed a full version afterward that people are saying is just as good.
Park Chan-wook worked for me too... classic him... that twisted logic he does better than anyone else. 👍
All in all, a little treat... I’ve got my 90s vintage collection from New York 😍

I actually own a copy, though I haven't gotten around to watching it yet. I guess I've heard nothing but great things about it, though.

Did anyone catch this at the Sundance Film Festival?
I was genuinely shaken... honestly shocked.

dir. Takashi Miike, Park Chan-wook, Fruit Chan!

Unbelievable... the depravity in this...
I won't spoil it for you, but it was incredibly uncomfortable to watch (it wasn't exactly a packed house either).

I think I'll be thinking twice before diving into more Asian horror...
Even though I liked Oldboy, this was just too much.

The "Valjušak" or "Dumpligs" segments were twisted enough, but I think I was even more terrified—like most people probably were—by the scene in "Box"

That final scene in "Box" is haunting... I consider myself pretty desensitized, but when she opens that door... I actually got chills.

Definitely check it out if you're a horror fan...

I didn't catch it in theaters, but I watched it at home about a year ago and man, that movie is absolute gold... all three stories hit hard, but that last one is definitely my favorite...😁

Personally, my favorite story was Takashi Miike's "Box"—it might have the slowest pacing of the bunch, but it’s easily the most beautifully crafted. "Cut" grabs you right from the start, whereas "Dumplings," while expertly made, occasionally feels more like an exercise in seeing how much of a "gross-out" effect they can force on the audience.

Regardless, it's an excellent film.

Honestly, I can't pick just one as the best
