Ads are driving me crazy

At the bottom of every single page on this forum, there’s this ridiculous ad featuring some guy clutching his junk while it pulses in and out, accompanied by the caption "1 drop, 5 cm." I realize that advertisements are paid for, but is it too much to ask that you at least restrict such brainless imagery to the late-night hours?

I’m pretty sure it just serves up ads based on whatever you’ve been digging up online lately. 😬
For me? It's nothing but endless engine parts.

For me, it's Amazon

😁 I can't quite put my finger on why, but whenever I'm browsing streaming sites for movies or series, the ads seem to go wild with everything under the sun; yet this particular one is just so profoundly idiotic that I felt compelled to snap a photo and share it.

That’s the first time I’ve ever run into this... on my end, it just keeps pulling up those Wittgenstein treatises.

I just got hit with an ad for the iPhone 12 (I actually had to disable my Adblock, haha!)

Anyway, if you just click on it and then report the unwanted ad to Google right next to the little close button, I guess it won't show up for you anymore.👍

I really ought to try browsing the forum without Adblock sometime... It might just surprise me. 😁

I'm browsing this via Reddit. Just turned off my Adblock to see what the ads look like and all three I got were for children's books. Seriously, why aren't they showing me ads for growth supplements? 😢
BTW my daughter is a teenager, so I don't exactly have anyone to read Mickey Mouse books with...

I turned off my Adblock and immediately started seeing ads for electric tankless water heaters and video production courses.😁

I’m honestly too chicken to go through with laser eye surgery—even though my vision is basically eagle-eyed right now.

Edit - and I fixed the mouse icon in the bottom right corner too.

Nobody's offering me anything anymore; those ads have pretty much taken over my entire screen.

Honestly, this is one of the better threads on any forum out there. I have my own Hall of Fame, but this hasn't quite topped Bug's computer/helmet thread yet.

It seems you fail to grasp the reality that your computer already understands you far better than you realize, to the point where the machine itself dictates which advertisements you encounter.
It meticulously selects content designed to tap into your deepest, most subconscious interests and desires... 😛
