Seriously, one of the greatest anime of all time. It was the first anime to really break into the US market, and honestly, its influence on thousands of other shows and series—including The Matrix—is just insane...

So Disney basically shaped the whole anime scene, but then you gotta realize Disney was actually being influenced by European heritage too...

One of the absolute best pieces of anime and animation ever put to screen. 🙏

My only gripe is that they're making a Hollywood remake, which is just going to butcher the whole thing.

I don't know, man. The real headache is that it's on a cassette. If it were on a DVD or even some old DIV-X, I'd just burn it and mail it over. No biggie at all...
