Does anyone else deal with this? That total, bone-deep paralysis right when a major deadline is looming... It’s like one vague, undefined task drags this massive weight of negative emotions behind it, creating this perfect storm for future meltdowns. It becomes a cycle.
At what point does this shift from "just stress" to an actual clinical issue? What could be driving this, and how do people usually handle it?

For me, it feels like I’m being ejected from my own body. I just sit there, watching these deadlines and life-changing opportunities drift past me like I'm observing them through a window. It's almost like sleep paralysis... except with all these nasty aftershocks once I finally "wake up."
:help:

😬

Everything around me is screaming—boiling point, go see a therapist, I’m starting to wonder what all that's about... 🤣
(just kidding, thanks.)

The 'freeze response' is a totally normal reaction, but man, it’s incredibly tough to deal with. I tried to explain my thoughts on it more deeply last night, but my phone actually froze up right when the stress hit. 😠
