I read somewhere that certain antibiotics can actually stain your teeth. I'm wondering if Sumamed falls into that category?

Did you read when I'll be able to get my teeth whitened?😉Sumamed isn't part of that group.

Tetracycline antibiotics can cause permanent tooth discoloration if they are taken during the mineralization stage—basically anytime between ages 5 and 12, depending on the specific tooth. These stains aren't just on the surface, either; they actually become embedded within the mineral structure of the tooth itself. (Just a heads up, Augmentin isn't one of them.)
Temporary antibiotic staining just isn't a thing.
