Hello,
I recently picked up a complete video surveillance kit consisting of the following components:

My initial approach was to open the case and seat this PCI card into an available slot—specifically the bottom one. After closing everything up and booting the system, Windows XP immediately triggered the Plug and Play Wizard, as one might expect. I then inserted the driver CD, made sure to disable my antivirus to avoid any interference, and selected "Install from Specific location." From there, I located the specific folder on the disc and successfully installed the drivers for the card.
Once the system rebooted, I proceeded to install the viewing software included on the CD, which is intended to display the camera feeds. However, when I connected a single camera to test the setup, the software insisted that no cameras were connected. I have attempted this multiple times, even swapping out the ports to see if that would make a difference, but to no avail. I went as far as uninstalling the original viewing software and trying an alternative, yet the result remains identical. I also ran Driver Booster to ensure all my drivers were current, particularly the graphics card, and according to the Device Manager, everything appears to be functioning perfectly.
Despite this, none of the software can actually detect the camera feed...
For context, here is my current setup:
Intel Pentium 4 - 3.00Ghz
1 GB RAM
ATI Radeon 9600 - 256 MB
Windows XP Professional service pack 3
Is it possible that the issue lies within the software itself?

- TiVo le-6805 PCI card - 4 channel
- A CD containing the necessary drivers (both Video and Audio)
- 4 video cameras (images provided below the list)
- 4 lengths of cable, several meters each, to connect the cameras to the computer
- 4 power adapters for the cameras
