So, here’s the deal... I reported a user on Reddit because she was being straight-up abusive. And wouldn't you know it? Now I’m getting flooded with private messages from her filled with insults. To make it even weirder, she actually used the exact offensive part of her own post as the subject line for those PMs 🤣

Look, her insults don't really bother me personally—I figure it’s not what she says, it’s who she is anyway—but isn't it a massive breach of protocol for a moderator to leak the identity of the person who filed a report? 🤔

Look, once you step down from a mod position, you lose access to the private area... at least, that's how it works on most other forums I've been on.🤔

They’re out here bending the rules in every possible way, and honestly, if you actually take the time to report them to the admins, you can't even get a decent response from anyone.
I mean, I guess that’s just how it goes when someone who basically doesn't matter in the real world tries to act all high and mighty and powerful behind a keyboard in their little online bubble.😁

Some guy gets a warning for oversized images (640x480) then edits them a few minutes later... meanwhile, mods post huge files that stay up for days without any penalty, other mods just fix them quietly without even a warning.🤣

At this rate, I might as well be a moderator.😍 :trep-trep:

The real headache in a situation like this is that one moderator can't just hand out a strike to another moderator. You’d have to drag a super-mod or an admin into the mix to actually issue the penalty—which, let's be honest, is just way too much bureaucratic nonsense and extra work over some trivial little strike.
Another thing is, when someone is being outright abusive or pulling some serious trolling during a game, even the moderators aren't off the hook. They get penalized too.

Basically, from what I can tell, I’m not the only one who thinks the moderation here is a complete joke 😁

But whatever, looks like they finally got roasted. At least she isn't blowing up my inbox anymore 🤣...though, honestly, I’d almost gotten used to the harassment 🤣

If that's how it works, the mod might as well just edit everyone's posts instead of handing out penalties 🤣 because making a post slightly too large is a massive crime that deserves the harshest punishment possible 😂 🙏

Props to the mod for the effort 👍, but let's make sure the rules apply to everyone ☕

Yeah, it’s totally unfair that regular users get slapped with bans while the mods just get a slap on the wrist.

I honestly don't get why the moderation team isn't allowed to hand out penalties to one another.
It makes zero sense to me.
