Bad Boys II

What did you guys think of the movie?
I thought it was quite good.
A few scenes were over the top, but it worked.
The action was a miss for me.
The jokes were solid.
My favorite part was when they were clearing rats out of the house and found those two mating.

The best action movie of 2003

this movie is an absolute beast!
if I actually had the time and the headspace, I’d probably be watching it every single day...

I had such a blast watching this movie! I found myself laughing out loud more than a few times, especially during that scene where "the guy who isn't Will Smith" (okay, fine, my brain totally short-circuited there) starts explaining his sexual issues while the camera captures everything, broadcasting it live to every TV in the local dive bar for the whole crowd to enjoy...

That was easily the funniest scene in the whole film. Honestly, though, the movie could have been cut by thirty minutes and still been just as good.

Finally, someone decided to weigh in on this movie.
It can't be that bad, right?
If it were actually a flop, it wouldn't have cleared $120–$140 million here in the States.

Honestly, the guy was pure Lethal Weapon, just like some gritty action hero you’d see in a movie set in the middle of nowhere.

That’s exactly why he was getting under my skin so much—I just couldn't shake that specific impression of him, no matter how hard I tried to look past it.

Honestly, it’s just one of those great little two-hour distractions where you don't even have to turn your brain on, you know? It's pure, mindless fun.

The highlights: the Ford, the action, the racing, and the cinematography...
The drawbacks: the 2.5-hour runtime, the lack of stakes for Will, and a touch too much violence.

Man, I swear... I don't think I've ever actually met anyone who hasn't seen Bad Boys at least twice. It’s basically a prerequisite for being a functioning human being at this point.

Ugh, honestly? Calling this movie "great" is a massive stretch. It’s absolute garbage. I spent the entire runtime staring at a bunch of obnoxious guys and listening to their mindless, repetitive dialogue—you know, the usual "watch out!" or "shoot him!" nonsense🙏 and stuff like that.
Not to mention, nobody in this cast is even attempting to actually act.

The only thing worth noting was that ridiculous scene where they're just fooling around, and when he says something like "we're living life to the fullest," man...😁 what an idiot.😁

Look, I don't have anything against Black actors personally, but there is such a thing as going way, way too far.

Just burn the whole thing down.😁

Sure, it’s an urban action flick, but it isn't actually that bad.
It works because it's an action-comedy!
There is plenty of action, and just as much humor.
The part where M. Lawrence's daughter goes on a date and her boyfriend shows up is a great touch.😂.

My favorite moment is when Lawrence peeks through the car window and the car misses him by just an inch or two.

It feels a little silly that nothing happens to Will.
The soundtrack is 👍.
I only have Shake ya tailfeather and Show me your soul.
They are both very good.

I’d love to hear from those people who claimed there was a better action flick out than Bad Boys II back in 2003.
