Some random user dug up a thread from 2006 about using diet to fight cholesterol, so I just chimed in to say it belongs over in the Food & Health subforum. Then this guy hits me with a 10-point penalty, claiming I'm "interfering with moderation" and threatening to slap me with 35 points next time?!

If he’s that worked up, he can go take his frustrations out on his own family instead of taking it out on the users here.

You can always just report a post if it contains stuff like that, or you could just shoot them a direct message instead; honestly, it won't take you any more time than it takes to write out a post anyway, and it definitely isn't considered spam.
