Australian sci-fi movie - Black Mirror

The trailer doesn't give much away, which I actually appreciate. It’s not exactly a showstopper, but that’s because it stays quiet. Personally, I always get more out of a movie when I haven't seen the trailer first... so I usually just skip them entirely. (I only watched this one after finishing the movie)
It's one of the better sci-fi flicks from this year. It keeps you guessing and leaves you hanging. There are a few things I'd add, but I don't want to spoil anything for anyone... A couple of scenes feel slightly unnecessary and drag things out a bit, but maybe that works to build tension. Sometimes that's how they try to convey the feeling of time passing under certain conditions... it mostly works. It touches on various moral dilemmas too, but doesn't make them the only focus...
The acting feels a little shaky at the start—since it's an Australian production, it might be a budget thing or just a first impression—but it picks up speed and hits a high level pretty quickly.
The CGI holds its own against high-end Hollywood productions...
Anyway, I'd recommend it to everyone. Definitely one of the best movies I've seen all year...
