Blood Type Results

I went to get some blood work done recently, which included testing my blood type. I was fairly certain I was A+ because that is what my family has always told me. However, the lab results came back looking like this:

standard ABO Rh (D) 🤷

I assume this means my type is AB, but I am a bit confused about whether I am positive or negative.

If anyone with medical knowledge could help clarify this for me, I would really appreciate it.

Your blood type is largely defined by your ABO classification.

Blood Group Potential Blood Types within the group
ABO group O, A, B, or AB

D factor D positive (Rh positive, which is the most common)
Also referred to as Rh group D negative (Rh negative)

So, I guess if you're looking at your lab results, there really ought to be some additional notation besides just the ABO part, likely followed by the D status in parentheses.
