issue:
My joints are basically "crunchy"—I’ve never actually broken anything, but my ligaments and joints have always been pretty sensitive. Lately, though—especially since I started hitting the gym—it feels like my entire skeleton is just... popping. Everything creaks and cracks. Honestly, during any kind of activity, especially at the gym, I feel like I might just snap in half at any second.
It's getting a bit unsettling. Could this be tied to the new workout routine? Is it just my body adjusting to the change, or am I actually wearing down my cartilage 🙂?

Any advice? Thanks.
Best,

Every time I stand up or squat, my joints sound like a bowl of Rice Krispies.

🤣

So, you aren’t the only one dealing with this "issue" at our age.

Supposedly, it’s just calcium buildup...
but maybe get someone actually smart to explain it to you.

Same here🙂
But I'm a bit rattled because it all just hit me at once—almost overnight. Sorry if I'm being a little dramatic

I’m experiencing the exact same thing; I can actually hear my joints popping and clicking every single time I make my way up the stairs... Is that something I should be genuinely worried about?
My father has dealt with that constant creaking for years now, so it might just be something running in the family...

Found this on another forum...

"Osteoarthritis hits later in life because calcium builds up in the bone, creating calcifications. This causes the bones to grind against each other, leading to damage. That’s why you see so many seniors heading in for hip replacements..."

Basically, wherever there's a joint, you can get calcification... which is why your knuckles pop when you crack them." "

Honestly, I have no idea how much of that is actually true. 🤷

Is there any chance this could be osteoarthritis? I’ve read that it typically starts cropping up after you hit 40... I'm only 30, and while I'm not actually experiencing any pain, that clicking sensation whenever I head up the stairs is becoming quite bothersome.

My joints are creaking too, especially my knees 🙄

The clicking itself is fine—or at least that’s what the doctors tell you, that it's nothing to worry about—but if you lock your wrist or move a joint and it feels like there's actual grit grinding inside... then you know something is actually wrong

😲😲😲, I can definitely feel it on my left side, though it’s barely noticeable on the right... honestly, I am starting to spiral a little bit here.

It might sound bizarre, but the sensation only really hits while I'm sitting still; once I stand up and start moving my wrist around, it just vanishes. wtf?

If it feels like things are grinding, like there's actual grit inside the joint, you definitely need to go get it checked out...

Why wouldn't it be possible? I was already facing that diagnosis before I even hit twenty. 😳>

then you're looking at crepitations.

Amis, I really appreciate the advice. I neglected to mention that my hearing actually seems a bit clearer since I started hitting the aerobics classes. A friend of mine is only 25 and she’s dealing with the exact same issue—she can even feel a distinct vibration when she places her hand on her wrist... In any case, if this persists, I’ll be sure to schedule an appointment with my doctor. Thanks again for all the input.
