To my dear friends—I am currently 32 years old, yet I’ve been diagnosed with cerebellar atrophy, cortical atrophy, and atherosclerotic changes in the vertebral arteries... I have already completed a CT scan and a brain SPECT, and now I am waiting on an MRI and a Doppler study. Essentially, my brain looks more like that of someone in their 60s—thank God I can still function for the most part, though I find myself becoming a bit forgetful and muddled from time to time... As for how progressive this might be? Only time will tell, and I truly hope it isn't severe. Currently, I am taking Ginkgo as a supplement. Has anyone else here dealt with a similar diagnosis?
