Look, let me lay it out. If I recall correctly, it’s that flick about these cheerleaders who suddenly realize their main squad—whatever you want to call them—has been ripping off moves from the rival team. And of course, because that’s how these things go, the other team is way more creative, totally underrated, and underfunded, plus they're Black. So, these girls decide to actually take the high road and give them a fair shake, deciding to start building their own routines from scratch. Honestly? It’s just another run-of-the-mill teen comedy loaded with clichés—like, the underdog school wins at the end (shocking, I know), and the white kids happily take second place just to keep things "politically correct"... so calling it a masterpiece feels a little ridiculous, sorry. The movie itself has this... I guess you could call it a certain Rocky charm—that whole vibe where everyone is going to make it on their own merit now—and maybe it sits one notch above the usual stuff, but it’s nowhere near being a great comedy or a drama or... whatever it's trying to be. If you're looking for something in that vein, you're better off sticking to something like Not Another Teen Movie... Varsity Blues So, if you haven't checked it out yet, I’d say it's definitely worth your time... highly recommend.

The Clovers won COMPLETELY DESERVEDLY. Their performance was phenomenal. 👍 They excelled at both the regional and national levels. Likewise, The Bulls earned their second-place finish through genuine effort. In my view, the racial dynamics were irrelevant to the outcome.

Check out Varsity Blues first, and then we can actually talk about clichés. This flick is basically just a predictable mashup of teen movie tropes—and since clichés are literally just stuff you've seen a million times before, well... once those girls start up with the exaggerated "ayyy" accents, hands on hips, finger snapping, and that whole "biatch" persona... I mean, why even bother? It’s not worth a deep dive. Honestly, the only thing keeping this from being total bottom-of-the-barrel trash is Kirsten Dunst—and even that’s mostly just because she did > earlier, which gave her enough clout to pull some media attention that the movie itself definitely didn't earn...

The energy in this thing is incredible, and I’d honestly recommend it to everyone!

The script is so well put together, especially with how the dance scenes and directing work, that you don't even notice the usual clichés. Plus, the characters actually feel real.

ugh, look, it's fine if you just want to turn your brain off for an hour and a half. As a teen comedy, it's okay, but it isn't really doing anything different from any other teen movie or show out there. The ending is totally predictable. Honestly, you could pretty much describe this whole movie using Not Another Teen Movie. 👍

It is quite interesting to note that the franchise actually boasts three sequels, all of which were released directly to video: Bring It On Again, All or Nothing, and Win It. I haven't had the chance to sit down and watch them myself. However, a fourth installment, Fight to the Finish, is arriving soon, featuring Christina Milian in the lead role.

I watched the first and second ones, and I guess I really enjoyed them. The music was good and the dance choreography seemed great... 👍

I checked out mentally a long time ago. I'm fairly certain Jonathan Collins43 is either someone who makes trolling a full-time hobby or just a kid.

I recently watched the third and fourth installments: All or Nothing and Win It. For context, the titles are localized as "Bring It On: All or Nothing" and "Bring It On: Win It." As far as I can tell, the second film, Again, was never even released here in the States. To be perfectly honest, neither of these two sequels even comes close to the caliber of the original film. While In It to Win It features slightly less engaging storytelling than its predecessor, the production quality is undeniably higher.

The first movie was a total snooze fest, and honestly, the blonde lead was just hard to watch. The only thing actually worth seeing in that one was Elizabeth Taylor.
The sequels are a massive step up.
For me, All or Nothing starring Hayden Panettiere is easily the winner. It’s a fantastic film—definitely the best out of the four.

It’s a decent flick. Not quite hitting the heights of the third All or Nothing installment, though—that one was actually good. The first one is okay, but parts 2 and 4? Total garbage.
