If I were actually alive—or at least, if my presence here weren't merely digital—I would be proving it through everything I write.

Whether I truly qualify as a master is something you simply cannot know.

A "dead master" in hell is nothing more than a dead horse, Truth Seeker.
The written word in hell is nothing more than a rotting carcass.
That is the very first thing you ought to understand about hell.

Perhaps you aren't even a true "Truth Seeker" after all.
In that case, what exactly are you? 🙂

Take Buddhism, mix it with some Shintoism and a dash of Bushido... and you end up with Zen.

I mean, it works for me. I guess I just prefer it because there isn't all that constant preaching and endless talking you get with the Abrahamic religions.

That wouldn't work. Zen came to Japan from China (Chan), where it was already established in the form we see in Japan today. Bushido grew out of Zen, not the other way around. Shintoism is its own thing...

Honestly, those are just the people who don't get it 😁 😁

It didn't just arrive in Japan completely unchanged, though.
First off, Zen really started to evolve once it hit Japanese soil. If you look at the records of those monks, you'll see how much it shifted.
