Greetings everyone, I am looking to purchase a laptop intended exclusively for multimedia consumption and web browsing, with a budget of up to $667.
I would appreciate your counsel regarding whether I should opt for a brand-new device or perhaps a used one; however, I have some reservations about buying secondhand due to concerns regarding battery longevity and similar issues.
My requirements include an SSD, Full HD resolution, and a minimum of 4GB of DDR4 RAM, which I will likely double at a later date.

I spotted an interesting option on eBay, but I am uncertain about the processor and whether it possesses sufficient power to handle streaming services like YouTube or HBO without issue, especially while running several Google Chrome tabs simultaneously.

In any case, I look forward to hearing your advice and recommendations on this matter.

Thank you in advance.

It isn't even a true dual-core CPU, so... probably not 😛

It's true that it's a low-end HP 😬 ...but you aren't going to find better specs at that price point. If it's too expensive, maybe look at something used. Personally, I don't think buying anything cheaper than this is worth it if you want something brand new.
