There are plenty of times during college finals when the anxiety hits so hard I practically forget my own name. My hands start shaking, I stumble over my words, and even my face starts twitching... honestly, it’s the same thing whenever I'm out with girls 😢

So, does anyone have a recommendation for a herbal supplement, a tea, or anything else to help me calm down? Ideally something affordable, safe, and actually effective 🙂

Persen
I think I saw something about him mentioned somewhere online, maybe give it a quick search,
it’s all about plants and stuff, pretty mild

Can I take Persen every single day, or should I save it strictly for those moments when my anxiety kicks in? More importantly, is it safe to drive after taking it?

On a side note, does anyone have recommendations for calming teas?

To be honest, Persen doesn't really do much for me... I don't feel a thing (though, mind you, I have a pretty short fuse, so maybe it works better for you)

And look, taking one or two won't hurt you,
but I definitely wouldn't recommend getting behind the wheel while you're on any kind of sedative stuff.

As for those calming teas, you can find them everywhere at the local CVS or Walgreens. Honestly, I think some of the big pharmacy chains even make their own blends.

Don't drive.......trust me on this one.

I mean, why would you need it daily? If you have something stressful coming up, like a big exam, maybe just take it the night before so you can actually sleep and chill out. Persen usually kicks in after about an hour or so.

Whether you go with Valeral from J&J or pure valerian from Specchiasola, these are hands down the best valerian supplements on the market.
Regarding driving—there aren't any legal bans on it, and you usually don't need to avoid driving or operating machinery, though weird😬 individual reactions can happen. For instance, high doses of valerian leave me completely wiped out😬, and it doesn't actually calm my mind at all.
That’s why I prefer passionflower (the highest quality passionflower comes from Fidelity), along with lemon balm and hops.

To be honest, I’m not really feeling the Persen either; it doesn't feel like it's actually doing much of anything for me.
Zachary Castillo7, what exactly is this Fidelity passionflower blend? What kind of stuff can you typically find when they mix passionflower, hops, and lemon balm together?

Fidelity (whole herbal suspension) is made from fresh plants, so all the active ingredients stay intact. It’s unfortunately pricey at $$43 per 100ml, but it is definitely the most effective option. You can find Fidelity lemon balm, along with lemon balm tinctures and even hop tinctures (I think they have extracts too).
You can pick up Fidelity at Bioterr (old Vlach district) or at the Mirisan shop:
Look for tinctures at the Lavender pharmacy near the start of Petrinja Street.

But wait, how do you actually use it? Am I going to have to play chemist and mix things together myself?
I mean, I'd really rather not accidentally poison ourselves since none of us are actual professionals! 😬

Just mix it with a little water and drink it.😬 Follow the instructions on the label.
