Hey there. πŸ‘‹

Funny how we have more medicine every day, yet everyone's getting sicker. It’s pretty obvious the system isn't designed to help us stay healthyβ€”it's actually working against us.

An American named Jason Val battled cancer and won by eating apple seeds and apricot kernels. You can find more on YouTube. (Look up Laetrile therapy and Vitamin B17.)

How much do you guys actually know about the dangers of aspartame and other toxins? Do you still buy stuff containing aspartame or MSG, or are you actively avoiding them?

I've spent years trying to warn my friends about aspartame, but it's a lost cause. Their go-to response is always, "If it were bad, they wouldn't sell it." Real geniuses, those people. β˜•

I know aspartame is harmful; I used to be really careful about it, but I guess my focus has slipped lately. As for glutamate, I'm never quite sure how it's actually listed on food labels since I've heard it goes by so many different names, so I just kind of gave up trying to track it. I've started paying more attention to additives in general, though I'm still a long way from being perfect at it. I don't usually consider πŸ™‚
a reliable source for information, and I suspect most people here won't either.

I’ve become incredibly meticulous about thisβ€”I simply refuse to blindly grab a product off a shelf anymore without scrutinizing the label first.
I always carry a printed list of harmful ingredients to cross-reference. I know there are plenty of people who argue, "Why bother checking everything? It's too much work," but over time, this has become such a reflex that I’ve practically memorized what to steer clear of.
I probably annoy my friends by constantly nagging them to be careful, but let's face it: no company is going to print "OUR INGREDIENTS WILL EVENTUALLY GIVE YOU CANCER" on their packaging. That’s just reality.
I’ve even taken it a step furtherβ€”now I frequently ask pharmacists at CVS or clerks at Whole Foods for things like fluoride-free toothpaste or sweets without aspartameβ€”and I truly don't care how long it takes them to read through every single label... or if the people in line behind me act like jerks about the delay. I take pride in it, and I honestly believe things might actually change if EVERYONE demanded products free from this nonsense.πŸ™‚ But then again, that’s probably just my own little utopian fantasy.πŸ™‚

Since I’m strictly against that "famous American seasoning," I at least try to steer clear of glutamate... but honestly! I know that whenever I go out for lunch or dinner, all my efforts just go out the window... My mom's generationβ€”well, basically everyone between 50 and 70β€”tends to throw things like Maggi seasoning on everything πŸ™„

Besides, you can find glutamate in almost any frozen meal or takeout food, it seems to me πŸ€”
