Can't find my thread

I actually started a fresh thread over in the psychology section, but for some reason, I can't seem to track it down anywhere... I’m starting to suspect the mods might have wiped it, though I honestly can't wrap my head around why they'd do that since I made sure to give the community guidelines a good look and I'm pretty sure I didn't break any rules, or at least I don't think I did

On another note, I was also wondering how the moderation side of things actually works here
Do they mostly just sit back and monitor the posts quietly, or do they jump in and comment too, and if I ever find myself needing to reach out to them for something, what's the best way to get in touch or even identify who they are in the first place?

It was removed because there are already similar threads floating around—though I guess I could dig them up and link them for you if you'd like?

Moderators have black usernames, supermods are red, and admins are pink. You can find the full list right here:

If you were to type in something like "how to handle an insult," for instance, you’d get a list of threads containing those keywords—including this one: http://www.exampleforum.com/showthread.php?t=559865. I would suggest reading through that existing thread and joining the conversation if it's something you find interesting. There are also broader topics out there that might address your question more generally, so it wouldn't hurt to search all the specific keywords you're curious about to see what's already been discussed. Unfortunately, we've been seeing a massive surge in new threads that are almost identical to ones already posted, so—if I may suggest—it's probably best to skim the subforum or run a quick search before starting a brand new topic.
