So I've got this old NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460
THIS THING

and the capacitors just straight up blew... they're labeled Intel Core i7-10700K.
they look LIKE THIS

I went out and grabbed some new caps from a different brand, but now I'm totally stuck. I can't figure out how to solder them on because the old ones don't show the polarity anywhere. No markings, nothing. And since this is a multi-layer board, I wasn't sure if the soldering process is different... I was thinking maybe I could just snip the old ones off and solder the new ones onto the leftover pins.

Does anyone actually know which side is + and which is - on an Intel Core i7-10700K capacitor?

Usually, whenever I've swapped these out, the negative side was clearly marked. In this case, you've got the white side on the tile and the blue one on the capacitor... unless they changed things up and totally messed it up 😬

I know they’re marked for negative or whatever, but these capacitors look super sketchy... I don't wanna mess this up and end up frying the whole damn thing

just like David Sanders4 mentioned

In general, I wouldn't recommend cutting the knife blades—that’s just not how you approach this. Instead, grab some desoldering braid and some flux, and you'll need a decent soldering iron handy.
I am just a bit concerned about where you're going to track down those specific capacitors; I haven't seen them in any of the local shops around here.
