I happened upon this film after quite some time. It is truly phenomenal; Meryl Streep is spectacular.😍

Check out the original because, honestly, it’s actually better. The movies are pretty different—they just share some common themes and a few scenes that Martin Scorsese recreated as a little nod to the first one. I personally love both (I haven't gotten around to watching The Curse of the Jade Scorpion yet), but like I said, the original is just superior to me—both as a character study and as a horror flick.

I watched this back when I was just a kid—so naturally, my memory of it isn't exactly the most polished or cinematic version imaginable.😁
