So, get this—during the filming of the new Catwoman flick, they actually swapped out Halle Berry for a 29-year-old guy named Nito Larioz during the action sequences. This martial arts pro from Hawaii had to rock bright red lipstick just to pull off the stunt work for the Hollywood star, and since he’s about the same height as Halle Berry, he didn't have any trouble squeezing into that iconic Catwoman suit. The scenes were shot so fast you wouldn't even notice the switch, but honestly, anyone who's just staring at Halle Berry's sexy outfit is going to be pretty shocked when they realize they were actually checking out a dude in a lady's costume.

Well, there goes my last remaining reason to actually catch that movie in theaters. If they had just cast Michelle Pfeiffer as Catwoman and let Tim Burton direct, we might have actually had a masterpiece on our hands. Besides, that costume Halle Berry wore is absolutely ridiculous. She looks like Mini Mouse holding a whip. Give me a break!

But man, that suit looks incredibly tight!! How can you not see his junk through all that?
Whatever. I'm definitely not hitting the theater to see this. Maybe once it hits Blu-ray and has a bunch of bonus features.

Well, THANKS! Now I won't be able to go within thirty feet of this movie for the rest of my life.

Even with plenty of extras, it would still be overkill if you ask me.

He's only in those shots where Catwoman is flying through the air at supersonic speeds. At that velocity, you aren't seeing much of anything anyway. Besides, everyone is looking at Halle Berry when she's actually standing still on the ground. 😁
Most movies use stuntmen for those types of sequences, so this wasn't really a surprise. What actually strikes me is that they didn't just use CGI for it, like they do for Spider-Man these days.

Look, here in the States, this movie got absolutely trashed by the critics—I'm talking a pathetic one-star rating—so if you actually enjoy this kind of stuff, be my guest, but don't say I didn't warn you.

I don't have an issue with Halle Berry, but Michelle Pfeiffer in Batman is the absolute prototype for Catwoman. She starts off all blue and bland, then transforms into an absolute knockout.

Halle Berry is just kind of meh overall. Like, she's washed up now so they're trying to milk whatever's left... but Pfeiffer? That's the real Selina for me. 🙂
Other than that, I'll admit I only care about Burton's vision of Batman. Everything after that is just cheap knockoffs and rip-offs. 😉
P.S. I know this is off-topic, but I'm dying to see Burton's take on Charlie and that chocolate factory... 😍

They messed it all up... If they're going to use hot women as the leads, then actually USE them instead of stunt doubles. And throw in some guys too. Why couldn't they find an actress who could actually pull off the "dangerous" scenes herself?

Look, I've got nothing against Halle Berry, but for me, Michelle Pfeiffer was the absolute blueprint for Catwoman. She started off looking so cold and detached, then she transformed into this dark, incredible force.
