I started a thread over in the Politics section about fifteen minutes ago, only to have it deleted without any explanation or even a hint as to why.

If I happened to post in the wrong sub-forum, why wasn't it simply moved to the appropriate section?

I am more than willing to repost it; I just need someone to point me toward the correct location.

Can anyone shed some light on what exactly occurred here?

If I just posted in the wrong spot, why wasn't it moved somewhere else instead of being nuked?

I'll spin it up again, just let me know where it belongs.

Any idea what went down? Help me out here.

Your thread got pulled, but it wasn't because of censorship. Your point is solid, but both the Politics and Economics sections already have several active discussions covering pretty much the same ground you brought up. Feel free to jump into one of those existing threads and share your take, but there’s really no need to start a whole new one.

The point you were making is fine, but under both Politics and Economics, there are already several threads that cover what you brought up, more or less. If you want, feel free to jump into one of those discussions with your views, but there’s no reason to make a whole separate thread out of it.

Then why the hell was it deleted if it wasn't censorship?

If that's really not it, then tell me—why didn't you just link that deleted thread to one of those "other" existing ones so the post could actually stay alive?

Do you have that draft of yours ready to go?
If you’ve got it, just jump into one of the active threads and post it there.
If you haven't finished it yet, don't sweat it—you'll get a copy soon enough.

Just a quick heads-up: please don't start a whole new thread just to make sure your post sits at the very top of an existing conversation. Let's keep things organized!

If you do, just post it in an active discussion thread.
If you don't, you'll get it.

Don't start new threads just because they already exist as active discussions simply so your text can be the first thing people see.

Who are you addressing here—me or 52_9?

The points I’ve made don't exist anywhere else as an active topic. I synthesized several distinct issues and reached a conclusion that you clearly failed to grasp. You won't find any source claiming that a "PRIVATE BANK must have its own owner, even if that owner happens to be the Federal Reserve." That is my own deduction. It isn't exactly groundbreaking logic, yet when one observes that stating the exact same thing in a slightly different way is immediately branded a "conspiracy theory," one has to wonder.

History shows the world has been a victim of a few ultra-wealthy aristocrats since ancient times; that isn't some conspiracy theory, it's just a historical fact.

Look into this:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Genealogy_of_the_President_of_the_United_States

Barack Obama is nothing more and nothing less than a distant relative of three royal lines from the British Isles. Given all the data available on the internet, only a fool would continue shouting, "CONSPIRACY THEORY!!!" Such information belongs in the mainstream media because it is an integral part of it—the true part.

Everything I have written, in the specific format I presented it, cannot be found anywhere else. My text needs to be a new topic, regardless of the fact that you will inevitably delete it. If I were to post it within any existing thread, you would simply scrub it for being off-topic.

What kind of half-baked conclusion is that? 🤣

Look, rezonator, you can't just stick to your own little bubble and your own worldview. You actually have to listen to other people!

By the way, what is even the point of having moderators and supermoderators on these forums anyway?

Is their job to just swoop in within minutes to elegantly delete and lock a thread, or should they actually take three seconds to merge it with an existing discussion since they're supposed to be reading and knowing what's already posted?

Honestly, this is exactly why the reputation of the mods on this forum is so incredibly low.

Your thread was deleted, but don't blame censorship.

Do you have any idea why I’m convinced there’s a high probability I’m being censored here? It all stems from what happened with a thread I started over on Alternative:
http://www.example-us-forum.com/showthread.php?t=666583

The moderator over at Alternative decided that a strictly non-mainstream perspective on reality simply didn't belong in his section of the forum. After consulting with the moderators over at NS, they reached an agreement to move the thread to their sub-forum. From there, they decided to keep it locked indefinitely while they "figure out" how to handle it. And by that, I mean they've been sitting on it, doing absolutely nothing, to this very day.

Just think about how much weight certain arguments actually carry if that's the reaction they provoke.

The moderator over at Alternative decided that having a super intense, unconventional take on reality just didn't fit his section of the site, so he worked with the NS moderators to move the whole discussion over to their board. Then those guys decided to just lock the entire thing down indefinitely while they "figure out" what to do next. And honestly, they're still sitting there "figuring it out" to this day...

It seems like the NS moderators won't touch anything coming from Alternative, even if it's some fresh, actually interesting scientific stuff.

Especially if it starts questioning their whole inquisitor-style mainstream approach... 🙂🙂

Resonator, you can't just stick to your own bubble and worldview. You've gotta listen to others too!

By the way, what’s the actual point of having moderators and supermods on these forums anyway?

Is it to just swoop in and shut down or delete a thread within minutes, or is it to actually merge things if a similar discussion already exists—since you guys supposedly read everything??

That’s exactly why the mod reputation on this board is basically in the gutter.

The job of a mod or supermod isn't to spend all day merging posts. We see at least ten new threads daily, and honestly, most authors feel their take is unique enough to deserve its own space.🙄?

I'm looking at the US Politics subforum—there are so many discussions happening there that it's impossible to track every single moving part in real-time.

The content itself isn't groundbreaking. On the US Economy and US Politics boards, stuff like this gets recycled so often it’s hard to tell whether to merge it or just bin it. In this case, the thread was removed. The author is more than welcome to jump into an existing debate instead.

The mod over at Alternative decided that a really firm, contrarian view didn't fit his section, so he coordinated with the mods over at NS to move the thread to them. Then they decided to keep it locked indefinitely while they "figure things out." They're still mulling it over to this day.

Just think about how much weight your arguments actually carry.

I've only popped into Alternative about ten times total. I don't hang out in those corners, so I have no clue what goes on there. I'm not part of any deals made by other mods.

Like I said, there's no censorship going on. You're free to join any of the ongoing debates in US Politics. As for the US Economy board, that's not my lane.

Sorry, but actually, that's literally what being a moderator is for.

Daniel Ward87 said:The content in question isn't anything groundbreaking. Within the Economy and Politics PDFs, we've seen similar threads written and rehashed so many times that one can't decide whether it's better to merge them or just delete them entirely. Consequently, the thread regarding this text has been removed. The author is perfectly free to join one of the existing discussions.

Since you’re being so incredibly decisive, I assume you’ve actually read my entire piece. If so, why don't you enlighten me: what exactly was the theme of my text? Do be a help and point me toward the correct topic to join, so I might avoid having my post deleted a second time—this time for an entirely different reason.

Sure, that's part of it. But I already laid out why certain threads get locked or wiped. This one was no different.

Andrew King29 said:Since you're being so blunt, you must have read my whole thing. So just tell me: what's the actual topic here? Help me out so I can pick the right subforum to join. I'd rather not have my posts deleted again for some other reason.

I can't really help you there—I didn't dive deep enough into your post to pinpoint a specific category. You're more than welcome to browse the existing topics and find one that fits what you're looking for.

That's all from me.
