But man, pulling off third place with just one win? That’s gonna be an uphill battle. We basically need to go out there the day after tomorrow and take down a Germany squad that's technically better than us, and then it’s a total dogfight in the final round against Azerbaijan (sounds weird to say, but they are legit strong).
I'm pretty sure if two teams end up tied, they look at set ratios instead of head-to-head results.

I just got back from the USA vs. Italy match. Since I don't follow the group playing in Los Angeles very closely, I can't offer much insight there, but the atmosphere in Miami was absolutely electric for volleyball! Everyone was cheering for Italy while still giving plenty of applause to the Americans. There wasn't any unnecessary booing or disrespect—just a genuine celebration of the sport. It was a true volleyball festival.
