Hey, sorry if someone already started a thread about this or if I’m just missing it in some random corner of the site somewhere, but I would be seriously stoked if I could just swap out my username, because I’ve been poking around the settings and honestly can't find a single thing about how to do it, so if anyone happens to have a little inside info or a quick tip on how to make that happen, I’d really appreciate it! 🎉

Man, this is such a massive topic to dive into. You really need to go back and give that opening post a thorough read first.

Oh, thanks much! 👍 It looks like nothing really changed, but hey, I guess I'll get used to it eventually, catch ya later!

Why not just make a new account then?

From what I can tell, you can't link more than one account to the same email address, and honestly, I’d really love to have everything tied to my current one since I'm basically living in that inbox every single day. Plus, I heard through the grapevine that once you create an account on here, there's no way to actually delete it 🤷

Honestly, my advice would be to just link a different email address—one you don't really use for anything else—to this current account, and then use your primary one for that new nickname. You can't actually delete an account once it's set up, but you’ll definitely be better off starting fresh now while you haven't racked up too many posts that you'd feel bad about leaving behind.
