Nobody’s even heard of that SS film in New York City!! I really hope it holds up, though, as Sonja once told me, it isn't actually about Sarlo—so don't go in expecting some heavy-handed documentary.

So, alongside "Pecate," this TV station aired both the studio and live versions of "Rano Izjutra," where halfway through you see VD and Koji swapping instruments while Gile starts jumping all over the stage. Does anyone have a copy?

Even my sources over at Bga, who were right in the thick of that scene, haven't heard a single thing about a documentary🤣...they're saying if it’s being put together by Sonja, I shouldn't hold my breath—she's moved on completely😕...

I actually spoke with SS once about that documentary, but I’d rather not get into the specifics on a public forum... basically, after we finished talking, I didn't reach out to her to pick it up. I'm hoping to make it happen next time.

Mirkovic really should have tracked that down at NBC back when he was working on Happy Child, but he didn't... unfortunately. I’m guessing there might be some old tapes tucked away somewhere, but you know how NBC can be.

The truth is, Mirkovic never seriously dug into the Charlie Chaplin material simply because Koji, being who he is, insisted on having total creative control over the film—and demanded he wouldn't even be mentioned if he didn't get it. Naturally, Mirkovic wasn't going to bow to that, so Charlie Chaplin was essentially dropped from the project as a serious option.

Regarding Koji and Mirkovica, everyone seems to have a different story to tell; one guy sticks to his version while the other tells something else entirely. According to Koji, Mirkovic told him this was all going to be a documentary and wouldn't bring in any money... now Koji sees things differently—and honestly, who could blame him, seeing as there's a film, a book, and even a CD in the mix...
Knowing Koji's typical way of doing things, I can see why he wouldn't want anything to do with the film. Watching Sarlo was a completely different beast altogether.
