A buddy’s mom changed her password on Booking.com, but now there's a glitch—every time she tries to log in, the old password just sits there in the field waiting to be entered... like it doesn't know anything changed. When she set the new one, Chrome popped up asking if she wanted to perform an upgrade or don't upgrade, and I went with upgrade. We even wiped the entire browsing history, but no luck. Anyone got a clue what's going on? Thanks.

The weird thing is, whenever she tries to log in now, the old password keeps popping up right in the password field—like it never actually changed. When she set the new one, Chrome asked if she wanted to perform an upgrade or don't upgrade, and she chose the upgrade option. She even cleared out her entire browsing history, but nothing seems to stick. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks.

It’s pretty straightforward—just go into the Chrome settings under privacy & security and manually delete that specific username and password. Once that's done, just head back to the site, type everything in fresh, and it should work perfectly fine.

That was exactly where I was getting stuck—all fixed now. Thanks again! 🙂
