Cold sore breakout—help!

Alright, here’s the situation... I have a lip piercing that was done at a local jewelry store, and now I’m looking to switch it out for actual professional piercing jewelry, like these:

So, I’m wondering—is this even doable? Is there a chance the hole they made at the jeweler is too small for this kind of hardware? Any advice would be much appreciated. 🙂

you can go ahead and put it in, but just know the hole is gonna end up getting wider.
