It is frankly absurd that this individual is granted this level of control as a moderator. A moderator should be intelligent, assertive, diplomatic, secure, and objective—traits that lonebadger6 is none of.
So, I am calling upon the forum community and the moderators to weigh in on this issue. And please, give me honest feedback: does my opinion deserve to be completely erased? Is it truly so harmful or dangerous that it needs to be totally scrubbed? I mean, after he gave me 55 points for two posts, he just banned me for the following reason: "You have been banned for the following reason: No reason was specified." 🤦
On the topic regarding immigrants, when he asked about the difference between Americans and Arabs, I responded with the following:
"Do Americans come to the US primarily to leech off the American social safety net? Do Americans enter the US without any documentation? Do Americans in the US come here to impose their customs? Do Americans in the US have five or six kids just to be supported by the state? Do Americans in the US demand that everyone respect American culture and customs as if it were the only correct culture and the only acceptable way of life?"
And regarding his attempt to draw an equivalence between George and a Syrian:
"I don't really see why George from Pittsburgh could go to Germany, but someone from Syria, Iran, or Pakistan couldn't..."
An average American, unlike the average Arab:
a) has no intention of being a burden on the taxpayers of Germany or disrespecting them.
b) feels no need to change Western culture; in fact, they are an integral part of it.
c) has no need to aggressively impose their customs.
Now, go ahead, give me the red card just because I contradicted you and said something supposedly "racist" that doesn't fit your multicultural mantra.
HAVE WE REALLY REACHED A POINT WHERE THIS KIND OF SPEECH IS CENSORED, OR IS THIS JUST A HYSTERICAL ATTEMPT BY HIM TO SUFFOCATE ANY DEBATE THAT DOESN'T SUIT HIS PERSONAL AGENDA? This isn't the first time he hasn't just issued a warning, but simply deletes posts. Whether it's a ban or a warning, there is no dialogue with him—just the deletion of posts he can't handle. I am certainly not the only one complaining about his tyranny. If multiple people are complaining, something is clearly wrong.🤔
I am not a confrontational person, nor did I express views so extreme that they needed to be panicked out of existence in a split second. Right? Or is my post actually something to fear? Let’s try being civilized, adult individuals. We know how the church used to silence dissenters. Are we back in the Middle Ages now, where we panic and silence anyone who doesn't think exactly like us? Or am I wrong? I wouldn't say he's just issuing warnings, since he banned me after only two posts, but at least have some decency and leave up the "horrible" opinion that allegedly earned the red card. Was it deleted just to avoid questioning his authority? I wouldn't be complaining if he had actually managed to address my stance with concrete counterarguments, proving he was right and that I was merely ignorant or intolerant. Instead, he proved the exact opposite.
Let's distinguish between inciting a mob and expressing a personal opinion. If we can't do that, then this forum has truly lost its way.
Thank you.
