Hey everyone, I was scouring the forums before signing up to see if anyone else had dealt with this specific headache, but honestly, I came up empty... So here's the deal. I was cruising over the bridge heading out from downtown Chicago toward Naperville, and there was state patrol sitting right there with one of those speed traps, but they were already tied up dealing with some other driver. I was clocking in at about 62 miles/h, which is way over the 80 limit. Now I’m just sitting here wondering, what are the actual odds that their radar was actually live and catching me while they were distracted? It's not even that I'm sweating the fine itself, it's just the principle of it all... This is the first time I've ever been in this spot in my entire life. 😁

when they reject 6.2 miles/man, if you're only going like a few miles per hour over the limit, there’s no way you even got caught on camera, you know? besides, your speedometer is probably lying to you anyway.

Wish I could just say that to everyone who needs to hear it! 🤣
But honestly, if karma actually worked the way people say it does, you wouldn't even have to ask when the hammer is gonna drop...

It’ll probably take about a month or two, honestly, though it really just depends on how much work piles up on my desk.
