I was driving through Mexico and picked up some DVDs for about $7 a pop. Each one had six movies, and one even featured the new Emir Kusturica flick, Covenant. It’s basically a family affair at this point since that name pops up in the credits constantly. Even his son, Stribor Kusturica, plays one of those square-faced grandkids—not sure if he's a junior or a senior.
He also handled the score, which is solid, sometimes even incredible!
The movie gets 5 stars from me—whatever the highest rating is for a top-tier masterpiece, that's what it gets. 5/5. 😁

Maybe Emir Kusturica doesn't release his films in America because we just get him better than anyone else.😍
