Dabroston

So, my mom had a totally normal cycle until just two months ago, and then suddenly—bam—it just stopped. Her doctor put her on Dabroston, but that first round didn't do anything, even after they extended it by five days. Now she's on some other pills, I don't even know the name, but basically, there are 12 red ones and 16 white ones, or maybe it's the other way around. He told her if those don't work either, she’ll have to start hormone replacement therapy. Basically, she won't have a period at all anymore, but he's going to pump her full of hormones so she doesn't feel the transition quite as hard.
She's 47, and honestly, I think it's way too early for all this. I'm actually getting kind of freaked out by how she's acting lately because she's already super wired and irritable, with these absolutely insane mood swings. Plus, I can't help but feel like this is just going to make her age way faster than she should.
I really don't want my mom looking old 🙄 🙄 🙄 HOW CAN SHE GET HER DAMN PERIOD BACK?!!🙂

Everything’s looking fine. Your mom saw her doctor and they went over everything together. It’s all under control now, and it looks like she’ll still get her period. So, the big question is... where's the actual problem here? 😕 Seriously, don't stress out about it.

And honestly? Don't even sweat the aging thing. It’s just part of being alive, you know? We’re all getting older, we’re all going to pass away eventually. That's just how it goes.
As for any tips on how to, I don't know, naturally delay menopause or whatever... I really haven't got a clue about that.
