Does anyone actually know what MCP, IF, and RC joints are?

Those are all just different types of hand joints.
RC stands for radiocarpal—essentially the connection between your radius (that larger bone in your forearm) and the small bones of your wrist.

MCP refers to the metacarpophalangeal joints—the ones sitting between the bones in your palm and your finger bones.

Then you have the IF (or IP) joints, which are the interphalangeal joints—the little joints located between the segments of your fingers.

Basically, we're talking about the joints where the forearm meets the hand, plus the ones within the hand itself.
