Dealing with interstitial colitis?

So, about seven months ago, I got slapped with an interstitial colitis diagnosis. I ended up in the hospital for a bit, dealing with a cocktail of meds—Tums 500mg tablets, Prilosec, and Nystatin (to deal with those nasty fungal issues you get when you're pumping out tons of medication). Is there anyone here who can actually tell me something useful about interstitial colitis? I’ve been looking everywhere and honestly... I'm coming up totally empty. Thanks in advance.
