Dealing with Malignant Pleural Mesothelioma

Hello... does anyone here have any firsthand experience dealing with pleural mesothelioma? Any insight at all would be incredibly helpful to me.🙄

Is there any viable treatment path besides chemotherapy? I’m looking for any information regarding alternative options...

Unfortunately, we're dealing with a pretty nasty and rare strain of cancer. It typically stems from prolonged exposure to asbestos fibers, which cause lesions on the pleura—that protective lining around your lungs—eventually triggering mesothelioma. Aside from standard oncology treatments, there isn't any other medically proven or successful way to tackle it. In reality, the medical focus shifts toward maximizing quality of life, where those who catch it early at an earlier stage tend to have slightly better prognoses.😢
