Is anyone else here dealing with tension headaches? I’m curious about how long they typically last for you and what usually triggers them. Is there any way to actually prevent them, or am I just stuck managing the pain once it hits? Any tips for relief would be appreciated. 😕

Man, I’ve been dealing with these killer headaches lately, but honestly? I have zero clue what they actually are. Just trying to get through them by grabbing a Starbucks... you know how it is.
I mean, does anyone even really know what a tension headache is supposed to feel like? Is it even real?

Usually just the fallout from stress.

Just go see a neurologist. I did, and they put me on Lamictal—it only lasted about a week before things changed... honestly, my EEG showed some dysrhythmia, but who knows if that even matters now...

I was actually thinking about scheduling a pre-employment screening here in NYC today, but even with private clinics, the wait times are brutal. Honestly, I’ve had some bad experiences in the past, and I'm feeling pretty anxious about potential fallout 👎 so if you wouldn't mind sharing which provider you used, please (feel free to DM me).
It would be such a relief if this were a straightforward process... did you have to undergo any testing beyond just an EEG?
