What would you guys recommend for super dry skin? I'm dealing with some intense itching because of dehydration, my diuretics, and even a little skin irritation from using an anti-clotting medication (I think the name was Marivarin or something similar, unless I'm misremembering what that specific med was actually for)

I totally forgot to mention that it’s the exact same deal with hair—or more specifically, the texture and volume. It probably boils down to the same reasons.

Maybe give thermal water therapy a shot at a spa somewhere. People have been using it everywhere lately for skin treatments and high-end skincare, so it might actually do the trick for you.

It won’t work here; we’re dealing with someone who has very limited mobility. They're actually stuck in the hospital right now.

Actually, I messed up earlier—the issue isn't those small cuts from the IV, it's a bilirubin imbalance.

So, we need something that's practical for a hospital setting and, if possible, can be applied topically. Since they're already juggling a ton of different medications, adding anything else to take orally just isn't a great idea.
