Deleted posts on "Šupendarama

Some posts just got nuked on "When you're a miserable Šupendara", including a few of mine.

Doesn't really matter though. They were just discussions from a more serious standpoint, offering some constructive criticism on the whole thread. Apparently, they got wiped because the mod doesn't like theory or something... who knows. It's whatever.

But now I see one of the subforum mods steering the conversation in that exact same direction (link to post) and it hasn't been sanctioned—not even the replies to the comment. I bet Gnothi actually has a much broader take he could share on the thread just like I did, but since he isn't "IGRIV"...

Anyway, my question is: why was this morning's discussion deleted, while Gnothi's comment stayed up?

No. You were trolling. You didn't "comment" on the thread; you spat on the entire premise of people sharing their stories, which is off-topic by definition. If you want to critique that specific type of confession, go start your own thread.

Or just stay on-topic for once.

What is the point of providing a "critical review" of someone else's life story and their personal interactions within THEIR own space?

Besides the fact that you aren't even the moderator of this subforum... 😬I think it’s just hypocritical... supporting comments that say "great thread, this helped more than therapy, genius!" when those are actually replies *to* the thread itself. You can't just pick and choose to support only one side of that sentiment... it doesn't make sense.

I’m saying it again, both of these are just thread comments. One gets a pass, but the other doesn't? Fine. Then let's have the same rules applied to all comments...

Then we get to that whole thing where moderators get away with stuff that "regular users" don't. I've heard from some reliable sources that this isn't even an isolated incident... they let this specific user slide on things that would get anyone else banned. It’s clearly becoming a pattern...

Are there other mods on this sub too? People they can't just delete... 🤷

Those are just thread reactions that stay ON-TOPIC and address the stories being told; they provide contextually appropriate feedback for the posters. They were made by people who were also participating in the discussion properly. What you’re doing here is the equivalent of going to an ESPN forum and starting a thread titled "Football is total garbage."

I know you're bored, but seriously, try opening a thread like that on a sports board. See how it goes.
