Dell vs HP

Both of these monitors seem like a solid deal for a 24'' screen with 1900x1200 resolution, sitting around $667.
I'm curious to hear if anyone has actual hands-on experience with these specific models... which one holds up better?

What can I even say? Both are decent enough 24" TN panels without any bells or whistles. Honestly, you can't really go wrong picking either one... though in this price range, you might want to look at the Dell instead. It actually comes with an adjustable stand—height and pivot included. It just depends on what you're looking for.

Are the 2433 and 2443 the same monitor, or is the only difference the pivot function and height adjustment?

It’s possible, but you have to account for the differences in backlight technology. Then there’s the 2443nw... honestly, I think the only way to make a call is to see them in person before deciding. You can find those models in just about any Best Buy out there, so getting a hands-on look shouldn't be too hard if you want to import one eventually.

Unfortunately, you won't find any chance to see those in Indianapolis. And even if you did, they wouldn't be plugged in!
