I’m looking for some advice here. If I’m unhappy with the work my dentist did, should I try to negotiate a fix with them first, or can I just tell them straight up that I want a full refund? If they refuse to redo the procedure or give me my money back, I suppose my next step would be filing a complaint with the State Dental Board to initiate mediation. If that doesn't lead to a resolution, I understand there's an expert evaluation process involved. Has anyone actually gone through something like this? I'd love to know how long the whole ordeal typically takes, and if the independent evaluation ends up siding with the patient, is getting a refund actually a possibility?
