Do 17-year-olds still get wisdom teeth?

Hey, I'm Alan, I'm 17, and let me tell you—when it comes to the dentist, I am incredibly stubborn. Like, ridiculously so. Long story short, I totally blew it by not going in when I should have, and now I’m facing TWO surgeries to get these roots pulled out. The teeth on both my left and right sides basically crumbled, leaving nothing but the roots stuck in the gums. So, here's the real question: am I actually going to grow new teeth, or am I looking at getting implants and saying goodbye to something like $1,500?
