What’s everyone else's take on this?
Personally, I just wash whenever it makes sense. Like, if I've been out working in the yard or messing around the house, I'll hop in the shower. I usually stick to basic soap because, honestly, I feel like it actually gets the job done better than those pricey, fancy body washes. Otherwise, I'm probably showering every other day—I really don't see the point in scrubbing down multiple times a day if I haven't even left the house, you know? But yeah, teeth, feet, and the essentials—those are daily, obviously.🤷
We pick up our toilet paper from $3.00 about twice a month, so even with whatever price hikes are happening, I feel like the cost is pretty negligible. Even without spending extra on specialized soaps and stuff, we're still spending more than the "average" household🤷.

Every other day? That sounds like quite the routine! I actually tried something similar last month when I was training for a local 5K, and let me tell you, the consistency really pays off!
Are you starting a new thread?
A bomb with a permit! 😬

What are your thoughts on this?
Personally, I tend to bathe only when it feels necessary—for instance, after spending time working in the garden or tidying up around the yard. If I have plans to head out somewhere, I’ll take a shower and stick to using standard soap, as I honestly feel it does a much more thorough job than those expensive, fancy body washes. Otherwise, I usually wash every other day, since I don't see much point in scrubbing down multiple times a day if I haven't been particularly active. Of course, I still brush my teeth and wash my feet daily, naturally.🤷
We're sourcing our toilet paper from... $3.00 Since we end up spending well above the typical monthly average on skincare even without factoring in specialty soaps and everything else, I honestly consider this little acne issue to be quite insignificant.🤷

Please don't take that too literally. During my own internship at the hospital, I certainly encountered patients wearing heavy scents like country Roads, but that doesn't mean every patient fits that description. There were also instances where people simply lacked access to a bathroom or didn't have anyone at home to help them stay clean, which is a much different issue entirely. I don't believe this article is meant to target young people who take pride in their hygiene. We all know how journalists operate—they tend to cherry-pick half-truths just to drive up circulation.
Therefore, I truly believe it is best to simply let things like that slide and not give them a second thought. ☕

It feels a bit silly to suggest that doctors in places like Germany, Canada, Turkey, or Bangladesh don't deal with these exact same struggles; surely, they face similar challenges everywhere, yet somehow, it always seems to be uniquely difficult here in America.🙄

And you're starting a whole new thread about it?
Well, I guess you've got a point there, 😬

Honestly, yeah—it’s been over a week since I last thought about it. I work a desk job, so I'm not exactly breaking a sweat constantly, and it would honestly feel pretty ridiculous if I was scrubbing myself down every single day.🤷

so really—don't even give stuff like this a second thought ☕

p.s.—it’s not like doctors in Germany, Canada, Turkey, or Bangladesh don't deal with this too, right? No way... it's not like it only happens here in America 🙄

I get that, but the anecdote still sounds pretty silly, especially considering the sample size they used ☕
