I'm currently working on my Master's in Economics focusing on online shopping habits—basically trying to figure out how much we all actually shop online these days. Since there hasn't been much specific research on this lately, I'm aligning my study with the U.S. Census Bureau and United States benchmarking indicators so the data can be compared directly with national statistics.

Honestly, I end up buying things mostly because there’s no other choice, like when I'm looking for specific books you just can't find in local shops here. It feels a bit risky putting my card details online and praying nobody hacks the account, especially since getting permission to even use my own card is such a headache.
I remember using my card at Target once and everything went through without a hitch.

As long as the connection is encrypted and you are purchasing from a reputable server, there really aren't any issues. Regarding card fraud, a waiter at your favorite local diner could skim your card just as easily when you're paying the bill.😎
