Since when did carbs become something you just "flush out"?
Maybe try upping your fiber intakeβget some more fruit and veggies in there.
And honestly, if youβre drinking ice-cold water, youβre probably going to deal with an upset stomach before you ever worry about constipation.

If you just stick to a bowl of oatmeal every single morning, you'll find your digestion stays pretty much on schedule...

Combine everything organic and inorganicβdairy products mixed with fruit, some Winterfresh mints, even a daily box of fiber supplements... if you don't see any progress after a week, you should consult a doctor to discuss a laxative and investigate the underlying cause of the constipation.

Iβm telling you, some greasy, lukewarm breakfast burrito paired with ice-cold water would send anyone straight to the bathroom immediately.

Honestly, carbs just totally wreck my digestion. I also can't deal with ice water; I have to stick to lukewarm
. Every morning, I just grab some fruit and some warm water, and then things finally start moving.

You should really try eating something incredibly rich on an empty stomach
like some local heavy cream or maybe a thick slice of brioche.

I haven't had a real bowel movement in five days. My diet was pretty standardβactually, I ate more carbs than usual, which normally would have sent me running to the restroom.
Carbs aren't all the same when it comes to digestion. You've got the high-fiber stuff that keeps things moving (think apples, spinach, beans, lentils, prunes) and then you've got the ones that can actually slow you down (like white bread, bananas, or pears). Itβs all about focusing on the fiber.π

Ice water won't cause constipation. The thing is, if you increase your fiber intake without upping your fluids, those fibers just sit there and clump together, which is what leads to the backup.

Itβs not the temperature of the coffee that does the trick; itβs the caffeine. It hits the gut chemically.π π

Yeah, I've definitely dealt with constipation before whenever I switch up my eating habits.π π Usually, you just have to look at what changed in your diet and start adding back the specific foods needed to get things balanced again. If that doesn't work, go see a doctor.π
