At first glance, I thought this was just straight-up homophobia. Then I realized the author keeps using the wrong term—"homopathy"—three times in a row. Give me a break.
Basically, this alternative medicine thing works on "like cures like." Doctors have pointed out that if you're treating arsenic poisoning with homeopathy, they'd actually suggest adding even more arsenic, just highly diluted.

Honestly, if someone’s dealing with a stutter, they should probably see a therapist instead of some homeopath.
I mean, homeopathy actually works for stuff like allergies and rheumatoid arthritis, though...

Look, just take him to a legitimate speech therapist or a licensed psychologist—get a referral from a doctor or someone you actually trust. Don't go throwing money at some snake-oil salesman. It’s better for your bank account and, more importantly, it's better for your son.
