I’ve been thinking a lot about team longevity lately. We always see these massive headlines about a single superstar being sidelined or a key player going down, and it feels like the whole season just collapses overnight. It’s easy to get caught up in the "what if" scenarios of losing one specific person, but it makes me wonder how much of a team's success is actually just down to pure, boring luck with health.

In my experience watching various sports over the years, it seems like the teams that actually sustain themselves aren't necessarily the ones with the most talent, but the ones that can survive a bad run of luck without falling apart. You can have a roster full of incredible individual players, but if the depth isn't there to pick up the slack when things go sideways, the whole thing is basically built on sand.

When a squad finally gets a clean bill of health after a rough patch, do you think they actually have a better shot at winning, or is the momentum from a losing season too hard to overcome?
