@Dorian.Gray
You claim the mods of the subreddits I used to write for don't want me back. Personally—and I’m probably not the only one here—I think the bare minimum they could do is actually explain why.
Ignoring an appeal is clearly just how this "administration" lets you know they don't want you on the forum. This is apparently their standard way of communicating with users; though, I haven't seen anyone else get ignored quite like me. It's been half a month and not a single mod has bothered to write a single sentence.
In the end, Tyson from the football section chimed in, and I've already mentioned his lack of "objectivity" regarding my forum history. Beyond that, I still maintain the guy doesn't understand basic football concepts, evidenced by posts like
Look, my dear Tyson, a playmaker or an attacking midfielder doesn't just stand "in the center"; they "float" between the midfield and the attack. That is their operating zone. That is the type of play Messi would perform. There are others, like Xavi, who operate more deeply.
The core qualities of a playmaker playing behind the forwards are vision, creation (the final pass), shooting, technique, and spatial awareness. In those roles, the amount of running—especially intensity—isn't the key factor. Their primary job is breaking the defensive line, and their secondary job is building play alongside the midfield.
Wingers and central midfielders are the ones where running distance is the most significant factor; surely you know that.
But whatever, I won't go on. This isn't a professional journal, and apparently, the moderator here is a football enthusiast who thinks the bolded text above defines a playmaker.
@Dorian, before you lock this thread, please tell me: is this how the mods/admins usually communicate? Like, when a banned user opens a thread and gets ignored for 20 days without any explanation as to why they aren't welcome back in the sub (and obviously, if they had actual arguments, they would have spoken up; the truth is I was perfectly civil in those subs and gave them no reason to act, so there's no "material" to use against me😉)? So, a user can get banned, but they can't get a valid explanation for why they can't post on the forum again?😁
No one from the sports or hobby sections spoke up except Tyson. As far as he's concerned, I find him pretty biased in my case because we've had our fair share of debates on the NFL boards before, and I feel like he has a bit of a vendetta against me. Actually, it bothers me that he's the only one who stepped in. If it were up to me, he'd be the last person I'd want deciding on my ban.
That's all I want to know. Before you close this, please tell me: am I the first case where someone appeals a ban and gets ignored for 20 days with zero response, or is this just the standard protocol for mod-user communication? Before I leave this site for good, I'd appreciate an answer.

Tyson said:I'm not so sure. Despite the common belief that a playmaker is just some guy standing in the center distributing balls every few steps, these players actually cover massive mileage to create space for themselves and others. On the other hand, Messi—even now, physically in his prime—runs below average, so the question is whether he could adapt to such a role. Modern football is moving away from one-dimensional players; in five years, no team will be able to afford a midfielder who doesn't run and defend.
