So, on the 'male code of conduct' thread over on Reddit, I got slapped with 35 points and a red card for trolling by Nica because of this post:

It would hurt anyone to have to screw over someone they love just to chase their own happiness—but honestly, if you’re actually thinking about the 'crew,' your surroundings, or society, you're basically just being a spineless representative of the human race.

Aside from the fact that the reason they gave for calling it trolling—supposedly the 'way' it was written—is sketchy, it's also pretty wild that moderator phiber uses the exact same logic in two follow-up posts to push their own point, yet somehow doesn't get carded. As for Nica's explanation: I don't see why I should be carded at all.

phiber said:So, you're saying someone is spineless if they hurt their closest friends, right?

phiber said:Look, if you think about your own happiness in a way that lets you destroy someone else or wreck a relationship you spent years building—then yeah, that guy is a coward for consciously nuking it just for some potential love.

By saying that, you're basically insulting everyone who thinks that way. Also, I'm asking the moderator to step up and do what they promised. 😬

On top of that, my post got carded and rated the same as this one sent to me earlier:
grandpa banjo said:You think that's just "conceding to petty small-mindedness," but I think that code refers to "higher values" like honor, dignity, or being honest with friends... take it however you want, not my problem. 😁 Anyway, you're just a typical woman. 😂

So, my perfectly relevant argument is being treated with the same weight as blatant sexist insults.

Plus, even after the warning from Tete2U, the whole thread is crawling with sexism, trolling, and straight-up harassment—stuff that Nica, and apparently everyone else, doesn't think is worth a card.

Hey everyone—folks, mods, whoever's in charge—could someone help me make sense of these criteria? I’ve been digging through the forum rules, but I just can't find anything that backs this up.

Thanks!

Look, you already laid out your whole situation over in the card discussion thread, so the admins and moderators have definitely seen it by now. If they have anything else to add beyond what Phifer and I have already said, they’re more than welcome to weigh in right there—and if they think that warning was totally uncalled for, they can just go ahead and clear it.
